New England Regional Championships 2009
The 2009 Oireachtas will be held in Providence, RI, at the Rhode Island Convention Center, November 20, 21 and 22, 2009. We do not have a schedule of events yet, but a summary of the 2009 schedule is below. Please note this is only a guide and the event days could change!

Three hotels have been reserved by the Irish Dance Teachers of New England. Hotel rooms will be available for general booking on August 22, 2009. There is a discounted Irish dancer rate of $125/night plus tax, etc. Hotel info:
- Providence Westin, 1-800-Westin1. Attached to Convention Center and Providence Place Mall.
- Providence Courtyard by Marriott, 1-888-887-7955. Across the street from Convention Center, room rate is $125.
- Providence Hilton, 1-800-Hiltons, approx 1 block from Convention Center, room rate $125
Please ask if you are unsure which competition or age group your dancer is in. Remember, agegroups are based on your dancer's age as of 1/1/09 so someone who turned 12 in June will dance U12. All of our Advanced Beginner, Novice & Prizewinner dancers are eligible (and encouraged!) to enter in the Traditional Set (aka Trad Set) competitions, which are included in the schedule below.
